Lipotec Launches Tetrapeptide

Preventhelia prevents cells from aging.

Lipotec's new Preventhelia is a tetrapeptide that prevents the damage caused by UV radiation. Moreover, it promotes DNA repair, to provide a complete protection system against intrinsic and extrinsic aging. The material was launched during the International Federation Societies of Cosmetic Chemists' 25th Congress in Barcelona, Oct. 6-9.

The water-soluble material has a suggested use level of 2-5%. The paraben-free material has an INCI: Water, tetrapeptide-21 (proposed), caprylyl glycol.
