Personal reasons are cause of resignation
According to a recent Reuters report, Meg Whitman resigned from the Procter & Gamble (P&G) board on Dec. 31 for “personal reasons.”
Ms. Whitman also resigned from the boards of EBay and Dreamworks Animation, effective the same date.
The Wall Street Journal has reported that Ms. Whitman may throw her hat in the ring for California governor, and an announcement may be pending in the next month.
