The general public is now able to search previous issues of the Journal of Cosmetic Science online via The Society of Cosmetic Chemists' (SCC) new website, journal.scconline.org.

According to the SCC, it will provide cosmetic chemists as well as students the opportunity to find articles previously published in the journal online for reference purposes. SCC members will have access to all journals including those published within the last three years. Each member will be provided with a user name and password.

The New York Chapter of the SCC came up with the concept and provided funding to have the journal archived.
