Royal Apothic expected to have first year sales of $3 million.
Inspiration comes in many forms. For Sean O'Mara it was an 18th Century apothecary manual he uncovered in a bookstore three years ago. Using the recipes found within, Mr. O’Mara is launching Royal Apothic, a home fragrance line at Stanley Korshak in September. He estimates it would generate sales of$3 million in first-year sales.
To get things going, Royal Apothic will roll out six scents: Japonesque, Cutting Garden, Topiary, High Tea, A Versailles Afternoon and A Venetian Grove. The interior perfumes are priced at $28 each and candles, which will come in the same six scents, go for $32 each.
