Markwins Bulks Up Its Innovation Team

Mancia and Tsai bring experience to company.

Markwins International appointed two award-winning product designers to the company’s growing Innovation Team. The newly created Merchandise Innovation Team reports directly to the company’s founder, chief architect and chief executive officer Eric Chen.

Ed Mancia, a Los Angeles native, brings over 15 years of beauty and fashion design leadership to the Markwins design team. Mr. Mancia, who contributed significantly to Markwins earlier development, has made stops in contemporary fashion design and global beauty development.Mr. Mancia is a graduate of the renowned Long Beach State School of Design. In addition to his strong fashion experience, Mr. Mancia has superior technical acumen honed during his years in the medical device field.

Joining Mr. Mancia is Grace Tsai. Ms. Tsai, originally from Taipei, Taiwan brings an exceptional pedigree of design and fashion with global scope. A dual major, Ms. Tsai holds a degree in Business Administration from Soochow University in Taiwan and an Industrial Design degree from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. A celebrated student and scholar, Ms. Tsai graduated with honors from Art Center Scholarships and Nike Scholarships. Ms. Tsai began her training in the Nike Global Fashion Division at Nike headquarters.Most recently, Ms. Tsai returned from a four-year assignment in Markwins Shenzhen China design campus where she rose quickly thru the ranks, reaching Chief Design Manager over Youth Products.
