Sunflower Is at Forefront of Latest Launch

2010-01-20 | 01:59

New range of sun care from Payot Paris to debut in Spring 2010.

The sunflower needs to turn to the light in order to flower, which refers to heliotropism. To adapt, this plant has developed protection mechanisms to expose itself even in the most intense sunrays all day long. Payot Paris – the French skin care line owned by Puig – is capitalizing on the mighty sunflower with its latest launch, Benefice Soleil.

The four-SKU line features everything from an Anti-Aging Protective Cream SPF 30 for Face and Sensitive Areas to an Anti-Aging Repairing Milk for Face and Body.In the products, sunflower oil and especially the oleic acid it contains fights oxidation by preserving collagen and elastin in the skin. Sunflower milk, also a main ingredient, soothes redness due to sun exposure.

Lotus flower is combined with the aromas of peony and jasmine to round out the Benefice Soleil Line. The collection debuts in U.S. stores in Spring 2010.
