Reckitt Benckiser appointed Salvatore Caizzone, 45, as executive vice president (EVP) Europe area, effective May 1.The role places Caizzone on the Executive Committee, according to the company.

Caizzone is currently senior vice president (SVP) Africa & Middle East, based in Dubai, which includes all business in Africa, the Middle East and Pakistan.

He joined the business in 1996 in Italy in international sales.In 1999, he was promoted to general manager of the Russia, CIS and Baltics business, based in Moscow, before moving to the Africa and Middle East region.

The EVP Europe role is based in the company headquarters in Slough, England.
