Oriflame reported that group sales rose 8% in local currency last year, while rising 15% when compared against the euro. The company had expected a 9% gain in local currency last year.

The slight decline was blamed on a weaker than expected fourth quarter, due to weaker demand in the EMEA region and the CIS region. In addition, the company had some difficulty registering products in CIS.

A full year report will be issued on Feb. 16.
