Azelis, a global innovation service provider in the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industry, has signed a new distribution agreement with Seqens Advanced Cosmetics. Effective immediately, Azelis customers in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg will have access to Seqens’ acyl chlorides, which are produced in France.

This new agreement reinforces Azelis’ partnership with Seqens, which is already established in the personal care segment. In addition, acyl chlorides used in the production of cosmetic active ingredients and perfumes perfectly complements Azelis’ lateral value chain, the company said.

“We are very happy to enter into another agreement with Seqens. The addition of their product line to our portfolio provides us with a more complex type of acyl chloride, which we will be able to bring to our customers to use in their synthesis applications,” said Pierre Nidercorn, product and sales manager. Azelis.

Karima Benaissi, marketing and sales manager at Seqens Advanced Cosmetic said that the company is “looking forward to another partnership with the Azelis team. Their market knowledge, extensive network, and customer intimacy – along with their priorities of sustainability, innovation, and digitalization – proved that they are the right partner for us to work with.”
