Applications Open for Annual Sephora Scholarship Program

Sephora provides each scholar with up to $7,500 for tuition for cosmetology and esthetician school.

Applications are open for its annual Sephora Scholarship program, which was created to empower and financially support diverse students pursuing a licensed career in beauty through professional training and education. 
 
BIPOC professionals hold only 36% of those roles, a figure that represents the diversity and inclusion gap among licensed cosmetologists.  
 
Licensure allows for greater opportunities, but tuition costs can be a barrier for BIPOC communities. Sephora provides each scholar with up to $7,500 for tuition, providing more BIPOC beauty enthusiasts with the opportunity to enter the industry and fulfill their dreams. 
 
The six-month program also provides participants with a paid internship at Sephora; firsthand industry experience; and mentorship and access to open roles following graduation.  
 
Applications close on March 12, 2023. The 2023 program will run from April through September.
