Azelis Expands Partnership with Agrana

The addition of PuraBeet strengthens Azelis’s portfolio of responsible and innovative solutions, supporting customers in developing sustainable formulations.

Azelis is expanding its partnership with Agrana with a distribution agreement.

Effective immediately, Azelis will distribute Agrana’s PuraBeet for the personal care segment in China, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand.

Officials say the addition of Agrana’s PuraBeet strengthens Azelis’s portfolio of responsible and innovative solutions, supporting customers in developing sustainable formulations. The partnership further strengthens the existing collaboration across the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Transforming Agricultural Raw Materials

With over 30 years of expertise, Agrana works to transform agricultural raw materials into high-quality ingredients used across various market segments. PuraBeet by Agrana is a multifunctional skin care ingredient, 100% plant-based and naturally derived from sugar beet molasses as crystalline betaine. It enhances skin hydration, reinforces the skin barrier against harmful substances, and helps reduce inflammation caused by chemical compounds in personal care products. Additionally, it improves the sensory experience by enhancing texture and spreadability.

Agrana’s focus on novel, sustainable solutions aligns with Azelis’s strategy to deliver responsible and innovative solutions to customers. The collaboration meets the growing demand for naturally derived products, including eco-conscious products with a higher natural index.
