ICMAD Adds Sunscreen Seminar to Forum

ICMAD, the Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors will host the fifth annual Cosmetic Technical/Regulatory Forum on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 25-26, 2010, at the Balboa Bay Club and Resort in Newport Beach, Calif.

New for this year is a second day devoted entirely to a global perspective on the formulation, manufacture, testing, regulation and labeling of sunscreens. This two-day session presents a unique opportunity to hear and question some of the best regulatory and technical experts in the industry.

This 2010 update includes some of the hottest topics in the cosmetic and personal care industries: the California Safe Cosmetics Program, the New FTC Guidelines for Advertisers and the New EU Cosmetic Legislation, also known as the Recast, which was just published.
