Coast Southwest, Inc. has been appointed by Impact Colors, Inc. of Newark, DE to distribute its lines of color effect pigments and products to the personal care marketplace in the Western and Mountain regions of the U.S.

“We are delighted to be working with Impact Colors,” says Kevin D. Sathre, Coast Southwest vice president of sales. “They have wonderful lines with products that are unique. They are committed to providing the best customer service in the personal care industry and so are we.”

Impact Colors supplies a combination of established lines and innovative products and is focused on color effect pigments exclusively for the personal care industry.

“Coast has an excellent reputation in the personal care field and excellent coverage throughout the region,” says Doug Thornley, co-founder of Impact Colors. “As a supplier of specialty color effect pigments, we need a company that knows the market, knows the players in the marketplace and is willing to meet not only with purchasing but with research to help customers spec our products into their formulations. Coast Southwest is all of that. Together we believe we can make an impact in the marketplace and provide significant
benefit to our customers and our partners.”

“They have beautiful colors,” says Jill M. Reimer, Coast Southwest technical sales representative and supplier relationship manager for the Impact Colors product lines. “You can’t help but be excited by Impact Colors’ products. And they aren’t only for cosmetics. Today many personal care products, from body lotion to shampoo, have shimmer and shine in their formulas.”

In November, Impact Color will present Color Trends 2012, a multi-media presentation of color in the cosmetics and personal care industry.

“This is the time of year when companies are formulating their products for 2012 spring launch,” says Reimer. “This tool gives customers new ideas and formulas they can recreate themselves.”
