By: Melissa Meisel
November 18, 2015
Kemin appointed Susan Oh as global president of its personal care business unit. She joined Kemin to provide leadership, enhance business development, and increase the market segment, which will result in a strong position for Kemin in the personal care and cosmetic industry. “We are thrilled to have Susan Oh leading our Personal Care Business Unit,” said Dr. Chris Nelson, president and CEO of Kemin Industries. “She is an insightful leader, technically skilled, and an effective communicator who can serve as a model and mentor to grow our ‘Natural with Science’ product line. Her strengths and hands-on experience encompass all areas of capabilities that will surely enable her to successfully deliver Kemin’s vision, mission, and values.” Oh joins Kemin with an extensive background in the personal care industry, including global experience in sales, strategic account and partnership management, marketing, business development, operations, project management, and e-commerce. In addition to her experience at Roche Vitamins/DSM Nutritional Products Inc. in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the US for more than 15 years, Oh has served as Director of Business Development and Sales at NovaMin, an oral healthcare technology company, where she played an integral role in the acquisition of the company by GlaxoSmithKline. She later joined GlaxoSmithKline in Global Project Management for new business development, and she most recently served as the Global Account Director of FONA International.
