L’Oréal Sells Cadum’s Home Care Lines

Eau Ecarlate picks up Croc'Odo, Iba, Zensect and Dr. Optic brands.

L’Oréal has sold off the home care business of the Cadum Group to Eau Ecarlate SAS, which is part of Spotless Group.

L’Oréal has sold of the home care business from the Cadum Group to Eau Ecarlate SAS. The business, which includes the brands Croc’Odor (odor neutralizers), Iba (air-fresheners), Zensect (moth-repellents) and Dr. Optic (optical lens cleaners), achieved a turnover of 17 million euros in 2011, two thirds of which in France.

L’Oréal acquired French soap company Cadum in April.

Spotless is a European company specializing in home care niche markets. Since its creation in 2005, revenues have grown from €65 million to €265 million in 2011.
