MAC Cosmetics has discovered a new proprietary technology that allows consumers to stack “infinite layers” of mascara without any clumping, according to the company. After 2+ years in R&D, MAC Stack has emerged—leveraging breakthrough mascara innovation with a mix of Fibre Melt Technology, Vita Gel and Lash Flex Polymer. The brand hosted an online preview for beauty editors and influencers on Feb. 9; the product launches March 1 in stores and online. According to the company, this new mascara line allows consumers to customize lashes for any desired look based on stacking preferences, with a virtually endless opportunity to create any look possible. Products include: MAC Stack Mega Mascara, $28;MAC Stack Micro Mascara, $28; and MAC Stack Mega Mascara Mini, $16. MAC also added a new pink lipstick line, as reported in Happi.
