Maroon Group HI&I Names President

Maroon Group, a North American distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients based in Avon, Ohio, named Jason Miller to succeed Jeffrey Tannenbaum as president of its Household, Industrial & Institutional (HI&I) business. As part of a long-term succession plan, Jeffrey and Barry Tannenbaum retired from the company effective June 30, 2020.
 
Under the Tannenbaums’ leadership, Maroon Group HI&I achieved unprecedented growth as the preeminent distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients to the HI&I and beverage markets, according to the company. The entrepreneurial spirit and unique service model that Jeff and Barry developed significantly enhanced Maroon Group’s laboratory and formulary capabilities and will continue to be a foundation of success for many years to come across all of Maroon Group’s verticals.
