Merlot Skin Care, a natural grape seed-based skin care brand, is expandiong into five international markets. The Texas-based company takes the first steps toward going global, bringing its beauty products to Japan, Peru, Dubai, Guyana and the Ukraine.
“We are very excited to begin making Merlot Skin Care products available world-wide,” says Wayne Beckley , CEO of Merlot Skin Care. For over a decade the company has delivered skin care innovations to help women in the U.S. look and feel their best. Now women outside the states will have access to products from the natural grape seed-based brand, which utilizes powerful antioxidants in its gentle skin care solutions.
In Japan, Merlot Skin Care has an exclusive agreement with Avon Products Co., Ltd., making available Merlot's Moonlight Radiance Night Cream, Purifying Peel Off Mask, Chin Up Neck Firming Cream, Cleanser, Hydrating Toner, and Lip Moisturizer. Other countries carry different selections from the brand's large line of products.
Moving into these new markets is just the first step toward broader expansion, as Merlot Skin Care looks to expand into Canada, Turkey, and Kuwait within the next year.
Merlot was named a “Breakout Brand” in 2011 by Honest Beauty, and has been featured by the Chicago Sun-Times, CNBC, and Today with Kathie Lee & Hoda. In the U.S. Merlot products are available at Walgreens, Drugstore.com, and Merlotskincare.com. It was also featured in Happi's Up and Coming Skin Care brands.
