National Starch Personal Care, Bridgewater, NJ, and Acupac Packaging, Inc., Mahwah, NJ, have announced the formation of a manufacturing and marketing alliance that will focus on the commercialization of dissolvable film technology as a delivery platform for a broad range of product types for the personal care market. The alliance will unite the R&D and formulation capability of National Starch with the manufacturing and packaging expertise of Acupac. It will create a product development resource for the personal care industry that will allow virtual turnkey development of new products based on dissolvable films for the market.
