Darren Oram has been named the vice president of education in the U.S. at Redken.

With over two decades in the hair industry, he brings of experience in education strategies within L’Oréal’s professional brands.

Starting his career in the hair industry, Oram joined the L’Oréal Group in 2001 with the U.K. Matrix Team, quickly rising to become Education Head for Matrix U.K. in 2005. By 2011, he was leading as Education Director for L’Oréal Professionnel U.K., where he modernized the brand’s educational approach and supported education across the Nordic countries.

Since relocating to the U.S. in 2019 as VP of Education for L’Oréal Professionnel, he has enhanced educational programs, aligning them with salon partners’ needs and contributing to the overall success and growth of L’Oréal Professionnel in the U.S., said the Happi Top 30 company.
