New deal adds cosmetic and baby wipes to shelves.
March 21, 2014
By: Melissa Meisel
The demand for personal care wipes is still growing, as seen with a recent deal between Save Mart and Green Hygienics, Inc. The supermarket chain placed its first order for Green Hygienics' Premium Formulations Cosmetic Wipes for distribution in 96 stores located throughout Central California and Northern Nevada. According to the company, the wipes are soft, skin-conditioning cloths with cucumber and aloe extracts that cleanse, hydrate and soothe. They are gentle and effective at dissolving all traces of dirt and oil. They are ideal for removing make-up and impurities from sensitive skin. The wipes clean and hydrate skin with a replenishing blend of moisturizers. “We are excited to see our product offerings continue to expand within Save Mart,” says Jeff Thurgood, vice president of sales for Green Hygienics. “They understand the need for greener alternatives such as our Sensational Bamboo brand. Their forward-thinking approach to anticipating consumer needs is what makes them one of the best.” The company also revealed recently that Save Mart has authorized full distribution of its Clearly Herbal Baby Wipes for distribution in the same stores. Clearly Herbal baby wipes are free from any harmful chemicals or preservatives, making them a popular choice amongst parents worldwide. Its success is due, in part, to the use of all-natural ingredients derived from plant sources. Clearly Herbal Sensitive Baby Wipes are free from alcohol, perfume, chlorine, parabens and SLS. The wipes primary function as a thick yet gentle wipe are enhanced by their soothing touch enriched with aloe vera and tea tree oils complimented by chamomile and green teas to promote calm and relaxation and improve the skins condition and health. “Disposable wet wipes such as Clearly Herbal Baby Wipes are becoming more and more popular as consumers use them on more than just babies,” added Thurgood. “We are excited that Save Mart has authorized another one of our products for distribution.” Green Innovations Ltd., through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Green Hygienics, Inc. (http://www.greenhygienics.com), is the exclusive licensed North American distributor of American Hygienics Corporation's 100% tree-free bamboo-based product line, including personal care and paper-based goods. It is a member of the International Green Energy Council (IGEC).
