What’s the Top Scent Trend for 2014?

Scentsy rolls out annual fragrance report.

Simply Nashi Pear—a “mouthwatering blend of juicy sweetness”—is the top scent trend for 2014, according to Scentsy. Based on trend analysis, the annual ScenTrend designation identifies the up-and-coming fragrance note, which consumers will find in home as well as fine fragrances.

“Simply Nashi Pear's brightness underscores the importance of living life with a sense of playfulness and lightheartedness,” said Heidi Thompson, president of Scentsy, Inc. “This year is about remembering to savor and celebrate life's little moments.”

Also known as the Asian pear, nashi pears are native to China, Japan and Korea, and they mirror the shape and size of an apple. Nashi pears range in color from speckled green to sunny golden, and the Simply Nashi Pear fragrance combines the sweet taste of a pear with the crispness of an apple, according to the company.

For those eager to try other Scentsy Fragrances containing nashi pear, Scentsy's February Scent of the Month, Sparkling Citrus Pear features sweet nashi pear, enlivened by citrus zest and bright lemon verbena, and is available for purchase on Feb. 1. Additionally, Scentsy's Spring/Summer 2014 Catalog highlights fragrances containing Simply Nashi Pear.
