In-Cosmetics Korea, initially scheduled for June 16-19, 2020 in Seoul, has been canceled. The event will return July 14-16, 2021 in the same venue, according to Reed Exhibitions, the event organizer.
In a statement, Reed said:
"The health and safety of our exhibitors, visitors and staff is our highest priority. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation and the travel restrictions that have been put in place in Korea and other countries, we concluded that the postponement of the event to 2021 was the right decision considering the current circumstances.
"We believe these new dates will provide the international and South Korean personal care community the safest and optimum conditions to gather again in Seoul next year to explore key industry trends and new products.
"We appreciate how important it is for the industry to stay connected during this time. While we are disappointed we will not be able to offer visitors and exhibitors the opportunity to meet face-to-face in June, in-cosmetics Korea will continue its mission to be the best platform to connect the industry. Over the coming months we will be launching a series of virtual events such as new product presentations, online conferences, video interviews with industry experts, and networking opportunities.
We once again thank all of our exhibitors, visitors and partners for their patience and support during these difficult and uncertain times, and we look forward to returning to Seoul next year. In the meantime, stay safe and stay tuned for upcoming virtual learning and networking activities."
