Augustinus Bader is launching a new program focused on hand care. As part of their #SmallActs campaign, the brand will introduce The Hand Sanitizer and donate the full run of 60,000 units to those in need.
The program will officially start Friday, May 8 with the introduction of the donation program with 20,000 units donated to healthcare workers. It will follow on May 9 with a broader gifting offering open to the public, where customers can redeem their sanitizers for free on augustinusbader.com.
Augustinus Bader is the byproduct of research intended to find a way to heal wounds without scarring, and was created to help continue to fund this important scientific work to help more people around the world. It starts and ends with a mission to bring professor Bader’s technology to those in need.
Since early March, the brand has worked to carry on this mission in immediate ways to help those working on the frontline, in addition to bringing its community closer together. With these efforts, the company created the #SmallActs campaign where it gave consumers the opportunity to surprise a recipient of their choice with a free 15ml Cream or Rich Cream (while supplies lasted, without shipping fees) when a purchase was made on augustinusbader.com.
The #SmallActs campaign is now being continued via a new IGTV series created by the brand called #ABSmallActs, centered on the small acts of self-care, kindness, love, wellness, and generosity that are keeping us going, and bringing much-needed joy to our days. Various people will debut thoughtful videos about a self-care practice that's helping them feel calm, healthy and happy right now. In recognition of their time and participation, the brand will donate to the Covid-19 charity of their choice on their behalf.
Also, in April, the brand announced the start of their donation of 12,000 50ML bottles of The Rich Cream to frontline healthcare workers across the globe to soothe the bruised and sore faces.
