I’m long past diaper changing stage; my tween and teen girls need deodorant not diaper rash treatment these days. But I can totally appreciate one of the newest products in the Amazon Dash button program—Aquaphor Baby.
Amazon Prime members can place the wifi-enabled ordering device on baby’s changing table to ensure that they never run out of their preferred diaper rash products—well actually, only Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment, as it is the only diaper rash product available with a Dash Button.
"When your baby has diaper rash or irritated skin, you want to make them feel better as quickly as possible," said Erynn Keefe, marketing director for Aquaphor. "Parents now never have to worry about running out of Aquaphor Baby products. With the Dash Button for Aquaphor Baby, they can re-order their favorite Aquaphor Baby products with just one press of a button."
Smart move Beiersdorf…
Like generations of mothers before me, I am a bit jealous when I see how new fangled technology has made it easier for today’s moms. I can only imagine how those moms who washed and pinned their cloth diapers felt about their grandkids’ disposable diapers (also available on Dash via Huggies.)
Yet, while I’m impressed by the ease at which moms can order products (I do question the Play Doh Dash button)—I’ll be green with envy when drone technology kicks in and the ointment is dropped on the front steps. And when Amazon can deliver a person to stop colic, I’ll call it quits.
