Backstage tested, artist approved, the new soft-focus, moisture-matte Powder Kiss lipstick ($18.50) arrives Oct. 11 at MAC Cosmetics.
According to the company, the weightless, moisture-matte Powder Kiss Lipstick was developed backstage by M·A·C artists to replicate a major fashion week trend: blending out edges of matte lipstick for a soft-focus effect. A groundbreaking formula in soft-touch packaging conditions and hydrates with moisture-coated powder pigments. The result? 16 shades, from berries to nudes to true reds, in a shine-free finish with the cushiony, lightweight feel of a balm.
“The trend is really about, a soft tint on the lips, a moisturizing matte – so you get the beautiful matte texture with no weight and tons of comfort,” said M∙A∙C Cosmetics Director of Digital Content & Artistry Ashley Rudder.
As seen at NYFW, bright matte lips were all the rage, as reported by Happi.
