Procter & Gamble, Cincinatti, chose Sigma-Aldrich, St. Lous, MO, as the preferred chemical supplier for P&G’s research and manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Executives said the agreement expands the companies’ current relationship.
Sigma-Aldrich partnered with Vidwan Inc., a 100% minority-owned scientific products supplier, to provide P&G with a full range of biochemical and organic chemical reagents and laboratory solvents for product research and development, analysis and manufacturing.
“This new agreement will allow Procter & Gamble to take full advantage of the complete breadth of products and services that Sigma-Aldrich has to offer,” said Gilles Cottier, vice president of sales, Sigma-Aldrich. “We believe our product quality, breadth of services, technology and delivery provide an unmatched package that will help Procter & Gamble excel in their marketplace.”
Sigma-Aldrich’s products and kits are used in scientific and genome research, biotechnology, pharmaceutical development, disease diagnosis and chemical manufacuring.
