L’Oréal Paris proudly commemorates the 10th anniversary of its partnership with The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) and its ongoing commitment to women’s health and empowerment causes.
Over the past decade, L’Oréal Paris has offered hope to the tens of thousands of women afflicted with ovarian cancer, helping raise over $13 million dollars to advance research, increase awareness and ultimately find a cure.
In celebration of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month this past September, L’Oréal Paris added two new pieces to its Color of Hope Jewelry Collection, a fundraising campaign benefiting OCRF.
L’Oréal Paris is donating 100% of all net profits ($5 for each sterling silver item and $150 for the diamond bracelet) from the Color of Hope jewelry collection to OCRF. All of the items from the collection may be purchased online at www.lorealcolorofhope.com and at L’Oréal Paris retail stores in Connecticut and Los Angeles.
As a multi-pronged campaign, the Color of Hope initiatives also include Beauty for a Cause, the L’Oréal Paris Color of Hope Makeup Collection featuring products for eyes, lips and cheeks, the collection pairs the universally flattering shade of mauve with vibrant teal—the color symbolizing ovarian cancer awareness. L’Oréal Paris will donate 10% of the retail price from each Color of Hope lipcolour purchased to OCRF.
Another fundraising prodgram is Hope Begins with You. L’Oréal Paris will donate one dollar from the sale of select skincare products to OCRF throughout October at participating Wal-Mart stores nationwide.
To promote awareness and early detection, L’Oréal Paris created public service announcements featuring L’Oréal Paris spokespersons Andie MacDowell and Milla Jovovich. More info: www.lorealcolorofhope.com.
