RITA Taps Cook as VP of International Sales and Business Development

RITA Corporation:
welcomed Jim Cook as vice president of international sales and business development. He previously worked for RITA Corporation as vice president of sales and marketing for over 13 years. Mr. Cook is re-joining RITA Corporation after working in the immunology field as North American sales manager for ProImmune. He will be responsible for directing all of RITA’s international business efforts and coordinating new business opportunities.
Firmenich:
announced the return of Joy Atkinson in a newly-created role of vice president of sales, body and home care, fragrances North America. She will be responsible for all body and home care accounts in North America and will report to Jerry Vittoria, president, fragrances, Firmenich North America. Ms. Atkinson previously worked for Firmenich as vice president/senior account executive, fine fragrances. She was most recently at Symrise.

Aquea Scientific:
appointed Martin S. Flacks to chief operations officer and Cynthia Klein to chief sales and marketing officer. Dave Compton, president and chief executive officer of the company, made the appointments. Previously executive vice president of operations for Aquea Scientific, Mr. Flacks in his new role will be responsible for all of the company’s operational issues including R&D, manufacturing and facilities management.
As chief sales and marketing officer, Ms. Klein will oversee all of Aquea Scientific’s sales and marketing efforts, as well as the company’s international distributor network. Formerly chief marketing officer of Induchem AG, Ms. Klein has also served as director of domestic sales for Lipo Chemicals and marketing manager, skin care, for International Specialty Products.

Cosmetologists Chicago (CC):
has promoted Amy Westercamp to the position of association manager. In her eighth year with CC, Ms. Westercamp will be taking on greater responsibilities with America’s Beauty Show as she has in other facets of CC’s events portfolio.
CCL Container:
has named Charlie Herrmann to the position of vice president of sales and marketing. He will be responsible for the North American sales force, along with the company’s technical director and customer service personnel. Prior to accepting responsibility at CCL Container, he held the position of vice president, marketing and research and development at Avery Dennison’s Industrial & Automotive Product Division.
Nalco Company:
announced the promotion of Kelly H. Gilroy to personal care district sales manager, Americas. Ms. Gilroy has been a member of the personal care sales team since 2002. In her expanded role as district sales manager, Ms. Gilroy will lead the Americas sales team in creating propositions for key global customers.

has named Anna Gripp as director, global marketing for personal care. Ms. Gripp returns to ISP following successful tenures as DSM Nutritional Products and EM Industries. She also serves as the senior area director for the Society of Cosmetic Chemists.
