Marc Jacobs—best known for his coveted leather handbags, quirky clothing designs and illustrious fragrance collection with Coty—is now set to take the color cosmetic category by storm, according to reports. He is set to launch Marc Jacobs Beauty with Sephora Originals.
According to WWD, the line is estimated to sell at least $15 million in North American retail from August into December 2013; a full year at $20 million.
The 122-stockkeeping-unit line is broken down into four broad categories: Smart Complexion, Blacquer (Jacobs’ personal favorite), Hi-Per Color and Boy Tested, Girl Approved. There are even three unisex products, added reports.
