Katie McAnena splits her days between her full time job as a surgeon, as well as her career as a professional windsurfer—and now she has become the very first ambassador for Irish beauty brand Voya.
In between winning competitions on the international professional windsurfing circuit, and becoming the very first woman to windsurf the legendary Jaws, McAnena, 27, has has also managed to complete her medical studies and now works as an orthopedic surgeon in Sligo General Hospital.
Voya is an Irish, family-owned and run business which began in 1912 when the first seaweed baths opened in Strandhill, Co. Sligo, Ireland. Based on the 300 year old seaweed bath tradition, Voya has created a range of seaweed based organic treatment therapies working with the world’s most respected cosmetic scientists, marine biologists and dermatologists.
