Dollar Shave Club is entering the hair care space with new Boogie's by Dollar Shave Club hair styling products. The range currently includes gel, clay, cream, fiber and paste; a pomade will arrive over the summer, according to the company.
"We like to solve problems for guys. That's how we approach everything we do. We started with the problem of expensive razors and frustrating in-store experiences, but there's just as much frustration throughout the men's grooming category," said Michael Dubin, founder and CEO of Dollar Shave Club.
Since launching in March 2012, DSC has grown to more than 1.7 million members and currently ships 62 million men's razor cartridges per year. The company reported $65 million in revenue in fiscal 2014.
To help members identify the right product, DSC is launching "Boogie's Match," a personalized product finder.
Prices for the styling SKUs range from $7 to $10.
