Nominations for The Fragrance Foundation Awards are open will be accepted until January 15, 2016.
According to the organziation, for the first time, all submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the board of directors. All fragrances will be experienced, packaging will be examined and marketing, advertising and social media campaigns will be perused at the board’s regularly scheduled meeting on Jan. 29, 2016.
In addition to the traditional awards, this year, there are several new awards, including:
Best Social Media Campaign–This award honors the best use of social media by a brand. It is judged on concept and execution on social media channels and resonance of the message;
Best 360-Degree Marketing Campaign—This award honors the best use of an all-around marketing campaign by a brand. It is judged on concept and execution of a marketing campaign that hits all of the consumer touch points — advertising, public relations, online and in-store;
Breakout Star Award–This award honors a fragrance that has been on the market 36 months or less (launched in 2013 or later) that has grown to be a breakout star; and
Instagrammer Award– Chosen by the Board of Directors, this award will honor an influential Instagrammer that has acquired a large following by focusing on beauty, fragrance, fashion and culture.
The Fragrance Foundation Awards 2016 are scheduled for Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.
Leslie H. Wexner, the founder, chairman and CEO of L Brands, will be honored with The Fragrance Foundation’s Hall of Fame Award.
