The In-Cosmetics Group Lifetime Achievement Award will be announced in Paris. Presented every three years, the award celebrates the work of a leading figure in the cosmetic industry, whose professional achievements have made a significant and lasting impact. In 2010, Dr. Alain Khaiat, founder of Seers Consulting, won the inaugural award for his dedication to product safety. In 2013, Dr. Karl Lintner of Kal I’dees was honored for his work on skin biochemistry.
The In-Cosmetics Group is calling on the cosmetic community to nominate individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the sector during their careers, particularly during the past three years. Entries must be submitted by March 2, after which four professionals, selected by a panel of industry leaders, will go through a public vote. The winner will be announced during the In-Cosmetics Awards 2016 reception in Paris on April 13.
“We’re delighted to be presenting our third Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s In-Cosmetics event," said Cathy Laporte, exhibition director, In-Cosmetics. "The cosmetic industry has some truly remarkable figures working within it, many of whom have done exceptional work in creating unique products that allow businesses to keep up with ever-changing consumer demands. We look forward to celebrating the achievements of another leading figure this year.”
The Lifetime Achievement Award will be complemented by a program of other accolades that will be presented in Paris. New this year, the Sensory Award will recognize the most innovative developments in the sensory and texture values of products. The Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Award will return to honor the latest active and functional ingredients. Finally, the Green Ingredient Award, in association with Organic Monitor, will be presented to a manufacturer whose raw material or ingredient has made a significant environmental or social difference.
