The Consumer Specialty Products Association is sponsoring a pesticide registration workshop covering topics important to conventional and antimicrobial pesticide products. Register today for an event you won’t want to miss. Key New York State Department of Environmental Conservation staff will present and address questions on registration and regulatory issues. The day-and-a-half workshop is a unique opportunity to engage with state regulators and industry colleagues.
The Workshop will take place Sept. 7 & 8 in Albany, NY. To register, click here.
On Oct. 12 and 13, CSPA will conduct its annual overview of pesticde regulation. The course focuses on the practical: what you need to know to get your pesticide products on the market, keep them on the market and avoid penalties. The course will cover the basics -- the definition of a pesticide; the ABCs of a registration, registration data and building a label; PRIA 4; tolerances; record keeping and reporting; preparing for an inspection and data compensation. It will also cover topics of current interest: electronic submissions; pollinators and the Endangered Species Act; state regulation of pesticides including California; and the potential impact of California's Proposition 65 on pesticides. Additionally, the seminar will also include three new modules that were introduced last year “Labeling Impacts of Toxicity Study Results,” “How to Register a Biopesticide,” and “Marketing Claims for Consumer Pesticides.”
