Sweat Cosmetics’ Translucent Powder and Mineral Foundation is now available on Sephora.com.
“We are thrilled that Sephora has taken interest in our brand and believes their customers want a product that bridges the gap between beauty and fitness,” explains Courtney Jones, Sweat CEO. “Nothing on the market caters to women who love to break a sweat, until now.”
Sweat was created in 2015 by five female athletes, who, while playing collegiate and professional soccer noticed a lack of beauty products for women who played sports regularly. Together, Taryn Hemmings, Emily Hines, Courtney Jones, Leslie Osborne and Lindsay Tarpley wanted to combine cosmetics and athletics for women to feel comfortable, confident, beautiful and empowered while staying active.
Sweat ambassadors include Elena Hight (snowboarding), Natasha Hastings (Olympian, track), and Christmas Abbott (CrossFit competitor).
“When we started Sweat, our vision was to be aligned with Sephora, the leader in global beauty retail. As former professional athletes, we are creating products to empower women and encourage active beauty. Now, a year after our initial launch, we couldn’t be more excited to partner with Sephora,” added Leslie Osborne, Sweat CMO and co-founder.
