At Natural Products Expo West this week in Anaheim, CA. Dr. Bronner's will have a major presence–sponsoring and participate in three events on the topic of climate action, releasing its third annual All-One (CSR) Report and launch a new prduct.
This week also marks 20 years since the passing of company founder Emanuel Bronner.
Dr. Bronner’s is a founding partner of the Climate Collaborative,was founded to leverage the power of the natural products industry to reverse climate change. This new effort officially debuted yesterday as the company co-hosted the first ever Climate Day with New Hope, producers of Natural Products Expo West. The Climate Collaborative is encouraging the natural products industry to combat climate change by making a commitment to one or more of these nine commitment areas: agriculture, energy productivity, food waste, forests, packaging, policy, renewable energy, short-lived climate pollutants, and transportation
In terms of new products, Dr. Bronner's is using Natural Products Expo West to unveil a new travel-size toothpaste. The low-foaming formula reduces plaque, whitens teeth and freshens breath. Made with 70% organic ingredients, including fair trade and organic coconut flour and coconut oil which aid as a mild abrasive, Dr. Bronner's All-One Toothpaste is vegan, fluoride-free, non-GMO certified, NSF certified, and contains no synthetic foaming detergents or synthetic flavors. The 1 oz. travel size will ship to distributors July 1, the company said.
Dr. Bronner's has published its third annual All-One Report to document the company's commitment to corporate responsibility and environmental sustainability. It includes data on the brand's sustainability programs and progressive business practices as well as its financial contributions to charitable and activist causes including regenerative agriculture, drug policy reform, animal advocacy, and the commercialization of industrial hemp.
