Enviroscent, the Atlanta-based home fragrance company has hired long-time consumer goods, specialty retail, and home fragrance industry veteran Rick Ruffolo as its new CEO and president.
Ruffolo had been an advisory board member for the company, as well as CEO and president of H2O Plus Beauty, Sensible Organics, and CR Brands.
Earlier in his career, Ruffolo led the innovation, brand development, and global marketing efforts at Yankee Candle, Bath & Body Works, and SC Johnson's Glade brand. He is credited with re-staging and growing the Yankee Candle brand, developing, patenting, and launching the Wallflowers electric home fragrance line line at Bath & Body Works. He also led the 1996 global rollout of the Glade Candles brand which expanded the everyday use of candles in homes throughout the world.
