Procter & Gamble may be stumbling in some markets, but there's no denying that P&G is a proving ground for executives in every industry. For example, Yum Brands Inc. named former P&G executive Kevin Hochman as president and chief concept officer of KFC US.
Hochman, 43, who spent nearly 20 years with the Cincinnati-based maker of brands such as Old Spice deodorant and body wash, will assume responsibility for driving overall brand strategy and performance of KFC in the US. Yum said he will focus on KFC customers, franchisees, innovation and operational efficiency.
Hochman joined KFC US as chief marketing officer in 2014. He has been credited with helping to grow same-store sales and transactions for 10 consecutive quarters.
