In 1983, ICMAD was chosen by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to create the FDA Cosmetic Regulations Workshop because of its focus on small and-mid-sized cosmetic entrepreneurial companies. Government officials and industry experts offered information to help beauty companies comply with regulations. The 36th annual FDA Cosmetics Regulations Workshop will be held this year on May 18, from 8am to 5pm, at the 3 West Club, 3 West 51st St, in New York.
The all-day meeting provides an excellent mix of presentations and panel discussions on topics of concern and importance to the manufacturers and marketers of cosmetics and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs. Panel discussions led by expert speakers focus on the latest issues in the cosmetic and personal care products industry such as: updates on US FDA activities, changes in over-the-counter drugs regulations, FDA warning letters and consumer class actions, FTC, NAD and more.
