Alex Keith, currently president of Procter & Gamble’s Global Skin & Personal Care, is succeeding Patrice Louvet as the president of P&G’s Global Hair Care business and will lead P&G Beauty overall.
Succeeding Keith will be Markus Strobel, currently vice president and brand franchise leader of the SK-II business. The new SKII leader will be announced at a later date.
Keith and Strobel come to their new roles with deep beauty experience, proven strategic leadership and consistently strong business results, said the company. For Keith, most recently leading the overall Skin & Personal Care business, which has just had its sixth consecutive quarter of growth. And Strobel has been the architect of SK-II’s impressive success since he took the helm four years ago, growing this Asian skin care brand into one of P&G’s star megabrands.
