Turtle Wax and Scrub Daddy have annnounced a co-branding deal as product developers have created Turtle Wax M.A.X. Power Hand Cleaning Sponges powered by Scrub Daddy.
"The new M.A.X. Power Hand Cleaning Sponges deliver on two of Turtle Wax's core principles: that new products must be innovative and solution-driven for the consumer," said Daren Herbert, chief marketing officer at Turtle Wax. "The partnership with Scrub Daddy is part of our ongoing strategy to forge new co-branding and licensing partnerships to help Turtle Wax shine in new ways in the auto care space, as well as around the home."
The sponge is inspired by the customizable cleaning power of Turtle Wax M.A.X.-Power Car Wash and uses Scrub Daddy's FlexTexture technology. An ergonomic design helps clean every inch of the hand and finger nails, plus can be used for exterior and non-porous interior auto surfaces, and even works on a variety of tasks around the house.
"Working with a legacy brand like Turtle Wax that shares our passion for innovation is what made this partnership such a great fit," said Aaron Krause, CEO of Scrub Daddy, which heightened its profile by making an appearance on Shark Tank. "Both companies have an entrepreneurial DNA that was channeled to develop the M.A.X. Power Hand Cleaning Sponges and we know consumers will enjoy finding new ways to use this product."
Car care brand Turtle Wax, whcih 70 years of experience developing automotive solutions, is exploring licensing and co-branding deals with companies that will expand its offering into new markets. While the iconic brand is considering lending its name to a cross-category assortment of products, only those that can stand up to Turtle Wax's standards of innovation and quality will move forward into development.
Turtle Wax M.A.X. Power Hand Cleaning Sponges powered by Scrub Daddy are available in packs of three on Amazon now, and can be found in select retailers starting later this month.
