Coty Inc. has named Daniel Ramos, former chief science officer and EVP R&D at Revlon, Inc., has been appointed chief scientific officer and EVP R&D, effective Sept. 15. Ramos will report directly to Camillo Pane, Coty’s CEO, and will be a member of the Coty executive committee.

He has a strong track record in driving growth through consumer-led innovations and in building organizational capacity and capability. Daniel has experience in both emerging and developed markets, having worked and lived in Europe, North America, Asia and Latin- America. He is entrepreneurial and has an attitude and outlook that are well aligned to Coty’s new ambition and culture.”
Ramos started his R&D career in P&G, first in Venezuela and then later in the US and Japan, spending 11 years in increasingly senior roles, before joining RB plc where he was vice president R&D Health Care and a part of the R&D global leadership team. He then moved to Revlon as chief science officer and EVP of R&D. His experience in the consumer goods industry spans the health, beauty and grooming, fragrance and cosmetics categories where he has delivered transformative and disruptive innovation internationally.
Ramos will be located in Coty’s R&D center of global excellence in Morris Plains, NJ.
