CICC is a trade group made up of chemical manufacturers, distributors, and allied businesses throughout California. It advocates on their behalf to the office of the Governor, the state legislature, and various state agencies. Beyond advocacy, CICC provides a forum for members to review and discuss public policy developments that may affect them and their communities. Moreover, it acts as a source of reliable and accurate information on the chemical industry for the media and public.
“Right now, it is a challenging time for our industry and it is important to make certain that legislators, regulators, and the public understand just how much CICC members really accomplish on behalf of the state economy, industry safety, and environmental protection. The CICC absolutely does that, so we’re happy to be a member," said Joseph C. Cimo, president of Coast Southwest.
John R. Ulrich, executive director of CICC, welcomed Coast Southwest to the fold.
“We’re proud to have Coast Southwest as a new member, because we know the amount of focus and dedication the team there puts into advancing best practices and being a contributor to both the industry and the California community,” Ulrich said.
