Is your company ready for the REACh Phase III deadline? After May 31, 2018, all companies must ensure that any chemical substance they are shipping to the European Union (EU) is REACh-registered. REACh stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals and is an EU regulation that addresses the production and use of chemical substances, and their potential impacts on human health and the environment.
To help prepare you for REACh, Stepan is hosting a free webinar, “What to know for REACh 2018,” on Nov. 15, 2017 at 10am CST.
The webinar will be led by Frederik Johanson of REACHLaw Ltd., Stepan's REACh partner. Johanson has been working in depth with EU chemicals regulations (REACh and CLP) since 2004. He has advised several international chemicals companies in business critical issues, and how to implement and manage chemicals and operational compliance in day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making. Johanson has been deeply involved in establishing and managing several REACh consortia and has worked extensively with international industrial and commercial clients across Europe, the United States, Russia, Asia and Latin-America.
In this jam-packed presentation, Johanson will cover:
• REACh (EU) overview;
• REACh 2018 Phase III deadline and impact on non-EU customer;
• REACh after 2018;
• Stepan's REACh readiness and
• Q&A
This session is designed for North American companies shipping chemical substances to the EU, but all are welcome to join. All registrants will receive the recording and a copy of the presentation after the webinar. To register, click here.
