Prep U Products, a suite of all-natural personal care products designed for active boys ages 8-15, is using Natural Products Expo West to roll out new products and new brand design.
Launched in December 2017, Prep U’s maker said the line is empowering boys with an age appropriate brand and message to guide them through the transitional years between toddler and teen while introducing personal care into their daily lives.
"As my boys got older I realized there was nothing for them in market," said Michelle Houp, founder/CEO. "Either it was baby products, which my boys wouldn't touch, or products and brands geared toward a mature, adult audience. From the ingredient lists to the messages and values those brands portray, that wasn't the world I wanted my sons to grow up in."
In addition to body spray, sport soak and active dry powder, new SKUs that will debut this week include two deodorants (aluminum- and paraben-free andcharcoal variants), body wash and a foaming wash.
