Boston-based Patchology has added two well-known industry names to its board of directors and hired a new VP of global marketing.
The new board members are Betsy Olum, former SVP of marketing at Sephora and VP and GM of Beauty at HSN, and Dr. Robb Akridge, co-founder of the company behind Clarisonic and former global head of Clarisonic at L'Oréal.

Additionally, Patchology has appointed Jill Sherman as VP of global marketing. Formerly SVP of Digitas North America, with a resume that includes Tria Beauty, Lip Smackers, Ardell Lashes and China Glaze nail polish, Sherman brings more than 15 years of beauty and startup experience in all areas of marketing and a passion for skincare innovation.
Patchology's transdermal patch and "accelerated actives delivery" technology has yielded a steady broadening of retail distribution to 1,200 doors in the US including Nordstrom, Blue Mercury, Ulta.com, Urban Outfitters and Riley Rose. The brand has recently gone global with a footprint in 1,000 international beauty sellers such as Sephora Europe, SpaceNK UK and Mecca Australia.
