For more than 25 years McCormick has played roles ranging from sales to development in the fragrance industry. She was hired by Firmenich in 1992. After completing their training course, she was sent into the field as a salesperson in personal care covering the Midwest and West Coast. In 1997 she transitioned to Firmenich’s fine tragrance team in NY.
Olfactive training was an ongoing priority at Firmenich, ranging from attending courses at ISIPCA to weekly classes conducted by perfumers. This continuous training prepared McCormick to transition to the development side of the business.
She joined method products in 2006 and has led the fragrance pillar for the brand since then. She has enjoyed working across their broad portfolio made up of personal care, home care, fabric care and baby and kids lines. She is a proud member of the Formulation + Fragrance team (Formulance) which is made up of 90% women. One of the most rewarding parts of her role at Method is mentoring and collaborating with her fragrance colleagues.
