Skin care line Restorsea has been named a finalist in the P&G Venture Innovation Challenge which will be held on Thursday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas (CES). Patricia Pao, founder and CEO of Restorsea, will make her pitch at the P&G Ventures booth inside the Sands Expo Convention Center and will compete against two other firms to win $10,000, qualify as a finalist in a Techstars accelerator and be provided complimentary attendance to the EY Strategic Growth Forum.
Restorsea’s line is formulated with ingredients to address the needs of consumers with eczema and rosacea as well as consumers with reactive and sensitive skin types. A key ingredient is contain Aquabeautine XL, a proprietary enzyme released by salmon fry at the time of hatching.
Restorsea’s competition will be the CEOs of Morari Medical, a maker of a transdermal based product that delays ejaculation; and Proov, which has developed rapid response urine progesterone test strips that allow women to monitor their hormones for fertility.
