Benefit Cosmetics' co-founder Jean Ann Ford died from cancer. She was 71. Jean and her twin sister Jane co-founded the cosmetic brand back in 1976 with whimsically-named products such as Watt's Up highlighter.
In 1999, the sisters sold a controlling stake in their company to LVMH and exited the brand in 2012.
Jean Ann Ford is survived by her sister, two daughers, Maggie Ford Danielson and Ann Ford Danielson, and four grandchildren.
